Discover how time vibrations and cyclical patterns reveal when the market is likely to turn.
Integrate planetary cycles with GANN methodology for long-term market timing and forecasting.
Most traders react to markets. Forecasters anticipate them. The GANN Institute & Research Centre is built on the legendary methodologies of W.D. Gann — one of the most influential market analysts of the 20th century. Through structured price geometry, time cycle analysis, and advanced forecasting techniques, we teach you to read markets the way professional analysts do.
This isn't about chasing tips or copying signals. It's about understanding the underlying structure that governs price and time. Gann believed markets move according to natural laws — mathematical and geometric relationships that repeat across decades and asset classes. Our curriculum takes you step by step from the fundamentals to the advanced tools that let you map probable turning points before they arrive. You'll learn to construct angles, identify cyclical patterns, and align price with time to build forecasts grounded in method rather than guesswork. Whether you trade equities, commodities, currencies, or indices, the principles remain consistent and adaptable. By the end of the program, you won't just be following the market — you'll be reading its blueprint, anticipating shifts with clarity and confidence, and making decisions backed by a disciplined analytical framework.
Praveen Pathiyil's journey in the financial world began in 2006 — not with a grand strategy, but with curiosity and a willingness to learn. What followed was a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades, during which he has served as fund manager, investment advisor, research analyst and publisher.
Today, Praveen serves as a Gann and Technical Analyst — a discipline he has studied with rigour and applied with precision across global equity, commodity and currency markets. His work is anchored in the timeless methodologies of W.D. Gann, whose principles of price, time and pattern continue to offer remarkable insight in the modern era.
A professor's words shaped his philosophy: “Familiarity breeds interest.”The more one engages with a subject, the less forbidding it becomes — a transformation that became the cornerstone of his mission to close the gap between the financial industry and the general public.
Through seminars, lectures, YouTube content and structured courses, Praveen works to move individuals from the sidelines into active, informed participants in their own wealth-building journeys.

Born on 6 June 1878 in Lufkin, Texas, William Delbert Gann was the eldest of eleven children in a family of cotton farmers. He walked seven miles to school each day and never finished formal schooling — yet he became one of the most studied analysts in the history of trading.
In 1902 he placed his first trade in cotton, already convinced that markets were not random but moved in measurable, repeating cycles governed by natural law. He moved to New York in 1903 and studied price data reaching back to 1820, cross-referencing it with mathematics, geometry, numerology and planetary cycles. His research carried him to England, Egypt and India, and produced the tools that still bear his name — the Square of Nine, the Gann angles, the swing chart and the 360-degree circle chart.
Gann's reputation was forged not in theory but in results. In an audited test conducted in October 1909 by a financial magazine, he made over 280 trades across 25 market days, with roughly 92% closing in profit — a feat witnessed and documented at a time when such precision seemed impossible. He is said to have forecast major market tops, the end of World War I, and key turning points in commodities, building a personal fortune that few of his contemporaries could match.
His philosophy was simple: price, range and time are three expressions of the same truth. When they converge, the market must turn. He continued teaching and forecasting until his death in 1955, and his work remains the foundation on which this program is built.
What makes Gann remarkable is not merely that his methods worked in his own era, but that they continue to work a century later. Markets have changed almost beyond recognition — floor traders gave way to electronic exchanges, algorithms now execute in microseconds, and entirely new asset classes have emerged. Yet the geometric and cyclical relationships Gann identified remain visible in modern charts, from equities and commodities to forex and cryptocurrencies. This endurance is no accident. Gann anchored his work in natural law — the same mathematical and proportional principles that govern growth, motion and time itself — rather than in the fashions of any single market or decade. Tools built on enduring truths do not expire. That is precisely why the Square of Nine and Gann angles are still taught, tested and applied by serious analysts today, standing as proof that genuine market structure transcends technology and time.
The program suits traders and analysts who want a disciplined, mechanical alternative to discretionary chart reading — best suited to swing and positional traders identifying medium- to long-term turning points. The methods apply across equities, indices, commodities, currencies and crypto. A basic understanding of technical analysis is recommended.
Construct and read every core Gann system directly from price data; define trend objectively; identify high-conviction support, resistance and turning points; forecast both price levels and turning dates; and combine price, time and structure into one repeatable forecasting workflow.
The program is designed for traders with a basic understanding of technical analysis. Complete beginners may find the early sessions challenging, but the core tools are taught from first principles.
GANN methodology is universal and can be applied to equities, indices, commodities, currencies and cryptocurrency markets.
The program is most suited to swing and positional traders identifying medium- to long-term turning points.
